2019 E-Box Schedule Announced

RADOTÍN, PRAGUE, CZ - The 2019 ELF European Box Lacrosse Invitational (E-Box) schedule has been announced and Canada will face competition each of the four days. The "No Trophy, No Champion, Real Box Lacrosse" tournament will feature thirteen (13) teams including Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Norway, Scotland, Sweden, and Switzerland. The Canadian Lacrosse League will participate as Canada U-20 (Junior), in preparation for the 2019 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship.

The highlight of the tournament will come on Saturday April 20th at 4:00PM (local time) when Canada takes on the Czech Republic hometown LCC Wolves; a dominate European Junior team that features the majority of the Czech Republic Junior roster.
Canada's roster will be comprised of players who attended the recent Regional Combines in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario. In addition, Canada players from the 2018 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship roster will round out the team's leadership core. Canada's E-Box roster will be announced on March 27, 2019. The management and coaching staff will be lead by General Manager Chris Fox and returning Head Coach Jeff Dowling, who will be serving double-duty as the Head Coach of Ireland (Emerald Islanders) as well.
