Canada
As an International Indoor Junior Lacrosse (IIJL) Founding Member Nation, the CLL represents Canada at the IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship (WJLC) and all IIJL championships, while administering major junior box lacrosse domestically in Canada.
Players are selected to compete with the CLL's Canada international program by attending Regional Combines. Regional Combines provide players with the opportunity to work closely with our staff in a controlled environment to showcase their skill, athleticism, and lacrosse IQ prior to the start of the Summer Evaluation Period. Players unable to attend a Regional Combine are encouraged to complete the Interest to Participate form and with current details under the LACROSSE section, including what team you will be playing for so our staff can watch games.
IMPORTANT Players are only extended invitation to compete with the Canada international program at IIJL championships once they have fulfilled their commitments with their junior teams and/or minor associations. To reiterate, a player's priority is to win a national championship with their junior/minor team. Players are not asked to "choose" between winning a junior/minor national championship or winning an international gold medal.
