Day two of round-robin action at the 2026 IIJL Commonwealth Cup featuring New Zealand Storm vs Western Thunder (6:00 PM) and Eastern Rage/Kings vs Canada (8:00 PM).
New Zealand Storm vs Western Thunder
Both the Storm and Thunder came out flying in the first quarter, scoring a combine 16 Goals in the frame. The Storm put together the most impressive run, stringing together five goals from four different players. At the end of the first the score was New Zealand Storm 9 - Western Thunder 7.
The second quarter was a different story however. The Thunder put together an astounding 9 Goals in the second quarter to the Storms 1 Goal. Going into halftime the Thunder had the game at hand with a 16-10 lead.

The third quarter was a bit more calm from a scoring perspective, with each team scoring 4 Goals. The fourth quarter was even quieter, Storm attempting to clim back with 2 Goals and holding the Thunder scoreless. Ultimately, the Thunder's first half was too much for the Storm to overcome. Final score of game three of the 2026 IIJL Commonwealth Cup was Thunder 20 - Storm 16.
Eastern Rage/Kings vs Canada
The evening game featured Canada once again, this time taking on the Eastern Rage/Kings. While the Rage/Kings had a rough result on Day 1, they shocked Canada on Day 2.
Canada blanked the Rage/Kings in the first quarter 3-0. Surprisingly, the Rage/Kings bounced back in the second and outscored Canada 3-2, to go into the half trailing 5-3.

Canada and the Rage/Kings would play neck-to-neck for the rest of the 30 minutes of the game; scoring 2-2 and 4-4 in the 3rd and 4th Quarters, respectively. Final score of game four of the 2026 IIJL Commonwealth Cup was Canada 11 - Rage/Kings 9.
