In a game of two halves, the Canada Development Team (CANDT) fell to the Slovak Men's National Box Team by a score of 12-9 on the historic day. For the first time in history, a lacrosse team from Canada visited and competed in Slovakia.

The Slovaks got off to a quick start, jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the first few minutes of the game. Canada was able to respond, closing out the first frame locked 2-2.

Goals were traded back and forth in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Ultimately, giving Canada their biggest lead of 6-4 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Fatigue would catch-up to the Canadians in the forth where they gave up their largest runs against, while only scoring 2 Goals themselves.
