Canada Drops Close Final Game Against England Finish 2-2
Canada' final game of the 2024 E-Box invitational tournament is defending European Box Lacrosse Champion, England.
It took over 3 minutes for the first goal of the game to be scored as Canada and England felt each other out, taking their time to strike and using full shot clocks in a disciplined opening quarter.
England scored first, but Canada responded with back-to-back goals from Nick McKee (Saskatoon, SK) and Brett Harrison (Elora, ON).
England's 7 Goal run spanning from the end of the 1st Quarter into the final 4 minutes of the 2nd Quarter proved to be too much for the Canadian to overcome.
Cam Pilon (Deep River, CT) and Jace Lesanko (St. Albert, AB) split the final game of E-Box recording 15 and 8 Saves, respectively.
The Canadian lacrosse League's next event will be the 2024 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship which will take place in Western Canada, with dates and location being announced soon.
