Canada Falls in Overtime of World U18 Gold Medal Game to United States

In a back and forth game, what can only be indisputably described as the "Game of the Championship", the United States defeats Canada 13-12 in overtime to win the 2023 IIJL World U18 Lacrosse Championship Gold Medal. 

Canadian Forward Liam Elliott was named to the All-World Team

In the 3rd and 4th Quarters, Canada was assessed five Penalties including a four-minuted Double Minor for Illegal Cross-Checking with two minutes left in the 4th Quarter which would carry over into overtime.
