Canada Opens the 2023 IIJL World U18 Lacrosse Championship with an 18-10 win over the United States. 

Canada's Liam Elliott opened the score at 13:44 of the 1st Quarter, powering a 3 Goal run, that would give Canada the lead that they would not relinquish for the entire game. 

Canada was led in scoring by Liam Elliott (5 Goals, 1 Assist) and Aidan Wattie (4 Goals, 2 Assists) each recording 6 Points in the game. 

Canada extended their lead and put the game out of reach for the United States with a 7 Goal run in the 3rd Quarter that extended into the 9:21 mark of the 4th Quarter.
