Canada U15 Roster for the 2021 IIJL World U15 Lacrosse Championship

by CLL

The Canadian Lacrosse League (CLL) is honoured to announce the Canada U15 rosters for the 2021 IIJL World U15 Lacrosse Championship (WU15LC) taking place November 11-14, 2021 in Massena, NY at the St. Lawrence Centre Sports Complex.

The inaugural IIJL World U15 Lacrosse Championship, as it currently stands, managed to avoid rescheduling despite the uncertainty around international travel and the closure of the Canada/US land border crossing. However, the IIJL World U17 Lacrosse Championship fell victim to the border closures and will take place along side the U15 championship.

"Similar to the Canada U17 roster, we wanted to create a scenario that would provide the best opportunity for our Canada U15 roster and coaching staff to be successful, while also reducing the current risk factors associated with travel." said Chris Fox, CLL President regarding the steps taken to build this year's roster. "With that in mind we took the opportunity to focus on regional players as opposed to players taking the risk to fly-in, miss additional days of school, only to have the border be closed."
