CLL Partners with Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association
The Canadian Lacrosse League (CLL) and Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association (CUFLA) have entered into a partnership to enhance the profile of the players and programs competing in CUFLA.
The partnership between the two leagues is player/student-athlete focused and will provide additional exposure and promotion for CUFLA and the individual university Men's Lacrosse programs.
"Our league is regarded by many as the highest level of field lacrosse in the country. With teams based inside some of Canada's top post-secondary institutions, this agreement will help us show young players across the country, and internationally, what CUFLA schools have to offer." said Kevin Caplice, CUFLA Commissioner. "Increased visibility for our events and talent will help our programs continue to improve and ultimately provide more players the opportunity to further their playing careers entering professional leagues." Added Caplice.

This innovative partnership provides a cohesiveness between the box and field communities needed for lacrosse to disrupt the sports landscape in Canada.
"The focus of the CLL is to provide value to lacrosse players at every opportunity, which includes providing information about post-secondary education and collegiate lacrosse," said Chris Fox, CLL Founder and President. "For lacrosse players interested in that path we want to educate them that CUFLA is a marquee destination for both."
Along with sharing best practices, the mutually beneficial relationship between the two leagues will see the Canadian Lacrosse League create CUFLA specific content that will be integrated into the CLL marketing and content calendar. "We are excited to bring the stories of players, coaches, and programs in CUFLA to life and introduce them to a wider audience" added Fox.
