Final Seven Players Announced for 23 Man Final Roster

VANCOUVER, BC – The Canadian Lacrosse League Canada international program is happy to announce the final seven (7) players named to the 23 Man Final Roster for the 2019 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship

“These seven (7) players round-out a very dynamic roster as we head into the 2019 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship in Mississauga” said Chris Fox Executive Director of the Canadian Lacrosse League and Canada General Manager.

In this group, the only returning player from the 2018 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship is Johnathan Peshko, who will be a quiet leader for the 2019 team. Additionally, Jacob Parkinson joined the Canada international program this past April in the Czech Republic and competed at E-Box. New Junior A faces include Bryce Schmermund, Seth Van Schepen, Kealan Pilon, Austin Hasen. Lastly, Lucas Nagy will bookend the Canada goaltending after a very successful Junior B playoff run.
