'Twas the Games Before Christmas NLL Week 4

A fairly quiet weekend in the NLL with only 8 of the 14 teams in action. But once the teams hit the floor, fans were celebrating with Christmas cheer and fireworks! 

Philadelphia Wings 15 - Las Vegas Desert Dogs 9

The Desert Dogs continue to struggle and will go another week until they can complete their first win of the 2024-25 NLL Season. Jake Saunders ('18) collected 6 Loose Balls, recorded 1 Shot on Goal, 1 Blocked Shot, Caused 2 Turn Overs and was assessed a 2 Minute Minor Penalty. Landon Kells ('19, '21) went the distance in net with 60 Minutes and made 32 Saves. For the Wings Sam LeClair ('19) was a contributing factor again on offence. Scoring 2 Goals, recording 1 Assist on 4 Shots on Goal, picked up 2 Penalty Minutes of his own, while also picking up 1 Loose Ball. Deacon Knott ('22)  did not play any minutes in goal for the Wings.

Colorado Mammoth 19 - Halifax Thunderbirds 14

A physical affair with a number of Roughing, Dead Ball Foul, Fighting, and Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalties called on both sides. Coming out with a clean sheet and helping bring the Mammoth to victory was Sean Kriwokon ('21) with another week of solid work on the back-end. 

Georgia Swarm 11 - San Diego Seals 8

A Pacific Time game to bring us into the Christmas Break, Georgia traveled to San Diego. For the Seals Matthew Wright ('18, '21) picked up 4 Minutes in penalties. For the Swarm, Seth Van Schepen ('19) Contributed on the offensive end with 1 Assist and was solid again in defence and transition with 2 loose Balls and 1 Caused Turn Over. Back for the Swarm was Liam McGrath ('18, '21) who contributed all over the floor with a blank stat line.
