WESTERN LACROSSE LEAGUEEASTERN LACROSSE LEAGUE
The Western Lacrosse League (WLL) is the western half of the Canadian Lacrosse League (CLL) and includes Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and the Western Provinces/Territories.The Eastern Lacrosse League (ELL) is the eastern half of the Canadian Lacrosse League (CLL) and includes Ontario, Quebec, and the Atlantic Provinces.
PLAYOFFS
Each League (WLL and ELL) will play two rounds to determine a League Champion.

Round One, features the 4TH SEED vs 1ST SEED and the 3RD SEED vs 2ND SEED from Regular Season standings, each in a best-of-three series. In Round One, the lower seed will host Game 1 with the higher seed hosting Game 2 and Game 3, if necessary on back-to-back nights.

Round Two, will feature the winners of each Round One series in their respective leagues in a best-of-five series to crown a League Champion from the WLL and ELL.

Round Three, will feature the winners of Round Two, League Champions from the WLL and ELL, in a best-of-seven series for the CLL National Championship. All seven games are hosted by either League Champion; by the Eastern Champion in even-numbered years (2026, 2028, etc...) and by the Western Champion in odd-numbered years (2027, 2029, etc...).

During the 2026 CLL Inaugural Regular Season the league will celebrate lacrosse in eight (8) additional markets across Canada, introducing major junior lacrosse to communities—in an effort to create excitement around the sport and empower youth to pick-up a stick.
