Under his leadership, the CLL has evolved into a professionally operated organization with a commercial arm, Canadian Lacrosse Marketing (CLM), that centralizes media, sponsorship, and licensing across affiliated properties.

Marty O’Neill serves as the Vice President of Lacrosse Operations and Deputy Commissioner of the Canadian Lacrosse League (CLL). A former professional goaltender and respected executive, Marty brings decades of experience in box lacrosse at the highest levels, including serving as General Manager in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) where he earned multiple General Manager of the Year awards. His deep understanding of the game, from grassroots to pro, shapes the CLL’s player development systems, officiating standards, and competitive structure.
