2026 IIJL WORLD U18 LACROSSE CHAMPIONSHIP

Brantford, ON - Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre, August 23 - 27, 2026

The IIJL World U18 Lacrosse Championship (WU18LC) is the only international box lacrosse championship for players under eighteen years old (U18). Over the last ten (10) years the World U18s has become an annual marquee box lacrosse event and a proven development pathway for players looking to gain valuable junior experience. 

Event Info

The 2026 IIJL World U18 Lacrosse Championship is open to players born in 2009 and 2010—players who will be turning 17 or 16 years of age in 2026. Additionally, players born in 2008—players who will be turning 18 years of age in 2026 are eligible to play as "over-agers" under the direction of each individual program (CLL) competing. Players are selected to compete at the World U18s by attending Regional Combines and/or competing at the IIJL Commonwealth Cup. Players interested in competing on the world stage are encourages to attend a Regional Combine - find a location near you (click). 

Past World U18 Rosters

Countless Alumni who have competed for Canada at IIJL Events have gone on to win countless championships, including but not limited to the LC Minto, Mann, Founders, and Presidents Cups, as well as many being selected in the National Lacrosse League Draft.
