2026 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship

The IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship (WJLC) is the only international box lacrosse championship for players under twenty two years old (U22). Over the last ten (10) years the World Juniors has become an annual marquee box lacrosse event - with previous championships hosted in NHL venues and with games broadcasted on TSN. 

Event Info

The 2026 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship is open to players born in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008—players who will be turning 21, 20, 19, or 18 years of age in 2026. Players are selected to compete at the World Juniors by attending Regional Combines and/or competing at the IIJL Commonwealth Cup. Players interested in competing on the world stage are encourages to attend a Regional Combine - find a location near you (click). 

Past World Junior Rosters

Countless Alumni who have competed for Canada at IIJL Events have gone on to win countless championships, including but not limited to the LC Minto, Mann, Founders, and Presidents Cups, as well as many being selected in the National Lacrosse League Draft.
