Update on the 2021 IIJL World U17 & U15 Lacrosse Championships

by CLL

In response to the recent announcement by the United States federal government to extend their land border crossings closure to recreational and leisure travel until September 21, 2021, with no indications on when the border will reopen, International Indoor Junior Lacrosse (IIJL) is exploring options for the 2021 World U17 Lacrosse Championship (WU17LC) and World U15 Lacrosse Championship (WU15LC) to insure that as many Nations as possible are able to participate.

Currently, the 2021 WU17LC will be postponed from its original dates of October 8-11, 2021 to the same dates and venue as the 2021 WU15LC on November 11-14, 2021 in New York State with venue to be announced in the coming days.

The Canadian Lacrosse League (CLL) is committed to the IIJL, its partner Member Nations, and to assembling a Canada roster that will compete for gold at both the 2021 WU17LC and 2021 WU15LC. For up to date information regarding both championships and Canada follow the CLL on social; Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
