CANDT Coming Together in Final Round-Robin Game

The Canada Development Team finished the 2023 IIJL Commonwealth Cup with a 3-0 record with a +16 Goal Differential heading into the winner-take-all final against Australia. 


The full game is available above for fans to watch who missed their 5:00 AM to 2:00 AM alarms. 

Canada was led in scoring by Cashton Seaborg with 5 Goals and 2 Assists. Player of the Game went to Quebec's Nicolas Noiseux scoring 2 Goals while taking on additional defence and face-off team responsibilities.

Canada handed out the Outback lacrosse Award to Aidan Wilson who scored 3 Goals in transition, playing purely out the back gate.

CANDT's next game is Saturday, March 18th, at 8:00 PM AEDT against Australia, which will be comprised the best Junior (U22) players from the three City/State teams. The Australia roster will be a first look at the potential roster that will represent Australia at the 2023 IIJl World Junior Lacrosse Championship in August. 

The championship game will be played at the home of Altona Lacrosse Club and the Alan Lewer Box Court. The game will be streamed live on the Victoria Box Lacrosse Facebook Page.
